Q: What time is check-in and check-out?

A: You can select from an option when booking a room through all.com, both including breakfast or room only, to suit your preference. Q: Does the hotel offer any rooms suitable for large families?

 

A: We offer a variety of spacious suites and private villas specifically designed for family comfort. For those needing extra space. To ensure our youngest guests have a restful stay, complimentary baby cots are available upon request—just let us know your requirements when booking.

Q: Which is the best room for a group of friends

 

A: For the ultimate group getaway, we recommend our Three-Bedroom Villas or Pool Villa 5 Bedroom. These expansive villas provide a perfect blend of privacy and social space, featuring a large living area and a private pool where you can relax together.

Q: Is your hotel pet-friendly

 

A: Yes, we are delighted to welcome your furry friends! We allow both dogs and cats to stay with us, subject to the following policy:

  • Accommodation: Pets are welcome to stay in our private villas only.
  • Weight Limit: We accept pets up to 10 kg.
  • Fees: There is a pet fee of THB 1,500 per pet, per night.
  • Public Areas: To ensure the comfort of all guests, pets are not permitted in our restaurants or indoor public areas unless they are in a trolley or bag.

Our mountain resort is a wonderful playground for pets to enjoy the fresh air with you. We recommend notifying us during your booking so we can prepare for your arrival!

The gym is fully equipped with a comprehensive range of cardio and weight-training equipment. Beyond the gym, guests can participate in a diverse selection of wellness activities, including Yoga, Pilates, Nordic Walking, Circuit Training, and Thai Boxing, all designed to cater to every fitness level.

A: Definitely! We offer a dedicated Kids’ Club packed with fun and educational toys, games, and creative workshops. For active young adventurers, our resort features a variety of outdoor activities, including pony rides and animal feeding at our on-site farm.

Q: Does your hotel have a main swimming pool outside the pool villa?

Even if you are staying in a private pool villa, you are more than welcome to enjoy the expansive views and atmosphere of our main pool area.

A: Yes, we provide EV Charging Stations on-site for the convenience of our guests. Our charging points are compatible with most electric vehicle models, allowing you to recharge while you relax and enjoy the resort. We recommend contacting our front desk upon arrival or during your stay for assistance with access and to check current availability.

Q: How far is the hotel from Bangkok?

 

A: Mövenpick Resort Khao Yai is approximately 190 kilometers from Bangkok, which typically takes about 2.5 to 3 hours to drive, depending on traffic. If you are arriving from the airport, we are roughly a 2.5-hour drive from both Suvarnabhumi (BKK) and Don Mueang (DMK) International Airports, making our mountain retreat an easy and scenic escape from the city.

Q: Is there public transport to the hotel?

 

A: While there is no direct public transport to the resort’s front door, you can easily reach us via Pak Chong, the gateway town to Khao Yai.

  • By Bus/Minivan: Take a bus or minivan from Mo Chit Bus Terminal in Bangkok to Pak Chong (approx. 3 hours).
  • By Train: Take a train from Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal to the Pak Chong Railway Station for a more scenic journey.

Once you arrive in Pak Chong, we recommend taking a local taxi for the final leg of your journey to the resort (about 25–30 minutes). For a completely seamless experience, please contact our concierge to arrange a private transfer directly from Bangkok or Pak Chong station.

A: We offer two distinct dining venues, plus a signature private dining experience:

  • Flavours of Khao Yai: Our main all-day dining restaurant features a diverse menu of Thai and international favorites. You can choose to dine in our elegant dining room or al fresco on the terrace with stunning views of the mountains and golf course.
  • Castleton Café: A charming, greenhouse-style café perfect for a relaxing afternoon. It’s the ideal spot for premium TWG afternoon tea, artisanal coffee, and a selection of fresh pastries surrounded by lush greenery.
  • Dining by Design: For a more intimate or celebratory occasion, we offer bespoke private dining. We can arrange a tailor-made menu for you in a variety of romantic outdoor settings across the resort grounds.

Q: Is there a dining service in the room or a floating breakfast at the pool villa

 

A: Yes, we offer a full range of in-villa dining options to enhance your stay:

  • In-Room Dining: You can enjoy a wide selection of Thai and International dishes from our “Flavours of Khao Yai” menu in the comfort and privacy of your room or villa, available throughout the day.
  • Floating Breakfast: For those staying in our Pool Villas, we offer a signature floating breakfast experience. It is the perfect way to start your morning with a curated selection of breakfast favorites served on a stylish tray in your private pool—ideal for a relaxing meal and a great photo opportunity.

We recommend booking your floating breakfast at least one day in advance to ensure your preferred time slot.
